Pizza, a movie, and people who get you.

In 2020, Morinda Cottam’s son asked a simple, heartbreaking question: “Who are my friends?” A week later, six neurodivergent teens were gathered together making pizza and watching movies. Morinda and her co-founder, Zoë Hart-Wagstaff, built The Motley Squad off the magic of that night. Years later, creating genuine spaces where people just get to be themselves is still the whole idea.

“Because everybody needs a band of friends.”

— Morinda Cottam, co-founder
